The graphics are amazing and the sound is equally outstanding and demonstrates just how good the XBOX One can be when used to it's fullest potential. Very nicely presented pixels but pixels none the less which leads me to. You end up caring ab out what happens to the main characters which always demonstrates good writing, acting and voicing as they are just pixels after all. Although most of the time you can predict what is going to happen when it does it is still satisfying and well done. The story line is pretty typical and just what you would expect of any World War 2 game (or film for that matter) produced in America. Unlike other die-hard COD players I've not been as disappointed (or in total controller destroying rage) with the direction of the series into more futuristic realms (remember the reaction to Infinite Warfare which at the time the was one of the most down-voted video in youtube history) but I do prefer the World War 2 setting.

I grew up playing Call of Duty (and Medal of Honour may it rest in peace) which to show my age was always set in World War 2 in the beginning so it was great to see the title return to it's roots.
